Clinics
There will be clinics for all scales and aspects of Model Railroading: scenery, photography, electronics, operations, prototypes, and so much more – delivered by notable modelers from the Region and around the world.
Prototype Tours
We hope you’re ready for some behind-the-scenes tours at operating railroad locations plus some great railfanning opportunities around the region!
Location
We’ve secured a great hotel in the center of the action in Austin, with free parking and WiFi, an on-site restaurant and bar, a fitness center, pool, RV parking, guest laundry, and great meeting facilities – all at an excellent price.
Layout Tours
The Austin area hosts dozens of world-class layouts in all shapes, sizes and scales that will be open for visitors on self-guided tours.
Operating Sessions
If you’re into realistic operations, then we’ve got layouts for you! We will have a large number of operating sessions to choose from to cater to every taste, including on two modular layouts at the hotel.

We will be joined by multiple special guests, including clinicians Cinthia and Stephen Priest and banquet keynote speaker Bruce Blalock. Don’t miss them!
Contest Room
Whether you want to work towards Master Model Railroader or just want to show off your latest work, the contest room will include categories of all types, including models, photos, and crafts.
