Registration
The registration fee is $95 for adults and $50 for minors ages 6 to 17 as of May 1. (The Early Bird discount has ended.) Registration includes access to all activities at the conference center – including the banquet – plus the layout tour and operating sessions. We are also offering day passes for $45.
Note that day passes and those five and under do not include banquet tickets, which can be purchased separately for $35.
“Extra fare” activities include the prototype tours and non-rail tours, primarily to offset the cost of transportation. “Make and take” clinics require reservations and may charge a minimal fee to cover the cost of materials. These activities are reserved and paid for separately from the registration process. Complete the registration process first and then go to our online store for those activities. (See the operating sessions page for more information about how that process works.)
You do not need to be a member of the NMRA or the Lone Star Region to attend, but we encourage non-members to take advantage of the NMRA’s Rail Pass trial membership program to give it a try. You can even sign up as part of your convention registration process.
Click on the button below to register. You can pay fees online using PayPal or a Credit/Debit card. Note that PayPal tries very hard to get people to use PayPal to pay instead of directly paying with a Credit/Debit card. You may need to register while in Incognito mode to force PayPal to present the “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” button, and even then it will ask for an email address. But that method will bypass the usual PayPal account/payment process.
If you’d prefer to mail in your registration, you can download the registration form, print it out, and mail it in with a check or money order. Note that by registering you agree to event policies, refund rules, and code of conduct.
Speaking of which, if you register and are unable to attend the convention, contact us before May 31, 2026 and we will provide a refund. After May 31, we may not be able to do so.
Though you can register at the convention itself, we strongly encourage you to register ahead of time. Tours, operating sessions, and other activities will fill up and we don’t want you to be disappointed.
